One thing 2020 has taught us is patience and innovations. Virtual meetings has opened the doors for many people with disabilities to engage in this world. Making connections is vital to mental wellbeing.

We just added a ton of group activities and classes to our calendar of events. They are in Independence and the Northland. Please check it out. Be sure to sign up because space is limited. I can't wait to see you all then.
We are also still looking for the Artist of the Month for March. Please message jwebb@bloomkc.org for more details. Check out out events page. We have a new event posted for the Northland area on Feb 8. Be sure to sign up since space is limited. This is a free board game night. Donations will be accepted.
I'm so excited. I have managed to quickly build a passionate, rockstar team covering the Northland, Independence, Lee's Summit and Overland Park. Now I need your help to get the word out. Check out our events page for more info. We need your help fundraising. We need more referrals. We need more people attending classes. Do you know someone that needs disability services? Please send them our way. I love meeting and helping people. We are looking to hire 3 high energy people to help teach classes. Expirence with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Will train the right person. This is an independent contractor position. Rate is $25 per 1 hour class with bonus potential. Background check and CPR required. Please email resume to jwebb@bloomkc.org.

Employment is key to many aspects of our lives that individuals with disabilities struggle to achieve. Employment means friendship. Employment means having a purpose.
